 Caciotta Sarda di Pecorino "Montanaro" is described as a fresh sheep's cheese, produced exclusively with local milk. This pecorino is known for its rich flavor that captures the essence of sheep's milk from flocks that graze in the mountainous regions of Sulcis. It is ideal both as an appetizer and for roasting, especially if wrapped in lean bacon and sautéed in a pan for a few minutes. Each caciotta weighs about 400 grams , with a white, soft and compact paste and genuine like Sardinia.
