  Il Frosted Daddy striking for the right softness and friability, and for the nice taste of walnuts and almonds  slightly toasted, playing hide and seek the hint of lard which, in turn mildly salty, not only makes everything very crumbly and persuasive, but also  very enveloping for the whole palate.
However, the beauty comes when on the palate already run-in from the first bite, you perceive the further and delicious amalgam with the sugar which, after cooking, partially caramelized I suppose, ends up delicately permeating the whole, assisted in this by raisins.
