Inspired by spring, the season of "rebirth", when the Primula flowers bloom announcing the new season, it is a craft beer inspired by German pilsners. It is fermented at low temperature and matured in the cold for a few months and produced with only barley malt and very freshly harvested hops, which come directly from the Tettnang area, in Germany - one of the most suitable areas for the cultivation of noble varieties of German hops. The freshness of the hops is one of its strong points, and gives Primula a pleasant and never intrusive herbaceous bitterness. Notes of fresh grass, hay and cereals stand out on the nose, while the cereals (light honey) and herbaceous hops return in the mouth. The finish is medium, characterized by an elegant bitterness. An excellent aperitif beer, Primula goes very well with light or slightly spicy cuisine. Thanks to the collaboration with Porto Conte Ricerche Srl of Alghero as part of the cluster action "Introduction of gluten-free brewery production into the company" (as per Art. 26 LR n.37/98), Primula is a craft beer without gluten-free - the first artisanal in Sardinia to have been produced and certified - and can therefore also be appreciated by those suffering from celiac disease. Its name refers to spring (the root of the words "primrose" and "spring" is the same) and also contains the reference to this small but important record.
