Gare de Roubaix is a top-fermented amber craft beer that finds its origins in the Belgian bieres de garde, agriculturally inspired beers typical of the brewing tradition of north-eastern France. It is a beer that has its strong point in its body, round and full, given to it by the light and amber malts used to produce it. The use of noble German hops gives it an elegant bitterness which is the ideal counterbalance to the malty taste. At the table it goes very well with meat-based preparations and mature and blue cheeses. Its name, in addition to recalling the reference style with a play on words and pronunciation, aims to highlight the eclecticism of this beer, whose ingredients come from the main European brewing nations, finding a metaphor in a train station, as well as outlining its style of drinking: calm and slow, like waiting for the next trip.
